A major training programme

The refurbishment of 25 million homes and the installation of almost 54 million LZC technologies will offer many new employment opportunities for planners, architects, surveyors, developers, builders, equipment installers and inspectors. As the market for low carbon technology and expertise grows it will be essential to have a skilled workforce in place. At present there is a shortage of trained people across the housing and energy sector able to meet the growing demand for low carbon technologies and services. Therefore universities, vocational colleges and companies need to offer the courses and programmes to ensure people have the necesary training and skills to innovate and implement low carbon solutions.this happens.

The installation of 54 low to zero carbon technologies offers UK businesses many new growth opportunities but training is needed to ensure a skilled workforce is available as demand increases.
